The Lidums family has a long and proud history of supporting chess in South Australia over many decades, and the Lidums Chess Foundation was established by Aivars Lidums in 1988 following the success of the Adsteam-Lidums International chess tournament.

Chesslife

Chesslife is the dream of founder and Head Coach David Koetsier. Chesslife has been actively involved in the chess community in SA, teaching chess at schools, starting local chess clubs and running chess tournaments and school holiday activities.

Northern Star Chess

Northern Star Chess provides quality school chess programs for primary and secondary schools around Victoria, from chess clubs to chess incursions to conducting Chess Victoria qualifying zonal tournaments. We also conduct the prestigious Billanook Chess Classic tournaments each year, boasting a cash prize pool of $4000+
